Penny Wilson

Hi, I’m Penny Wilson of Quirky Quilts, a passionate quilting teacher with over

33 years of experience behind the sewing machine as a quilter and a special

love for all things Stripology! For the past five years, I’ve had the joy of

teaching a weekly quilting class where I help students of all levels build their

skills, boost their confidence, and fall even more in love with quilting.

I specialize in Stripology techniques that simplify cutting, speed up piecing,

and make precision a breeze. Whether you’re brand new to quilting or a

seasoned stitcher looking to streamline your process, my classes are

designed to be fun, approachable, and packed with practical tips that make

quilting more enjoyable.

I believe in empowering quilters to work smarter—not harder—so they can

spend more time doing what they love. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me

stitching up new samples, experimenting with bold color palettes, or sharing

my latest projects and tutorials online.
