Judy Niemeyer Class & Workshop - Join the Waitlist

Join Cynthy a Quiltworx certified instructor as she shows you the basics for Judy Niemeyer’s paper foundation piecing techniques. You will learn about cutting out the fabrics, organization, foundation piecing, smart corners, the use of Transition and Registration Point (TRP) Lines, and curved piecing.

There are two options for the retreat.

Pick one of the patterns:

Sugar Plum Fairy, 68” x 68”

It is a good beginners quilt, all straight line piecing but has all the basics to build your confidence in paper piecing.

Queen of the night, 80” x 80”

Quiltworx has added a new on-point Hosta quilt, which gives you the opportunity to experience several techniques with this quilt. Straight line, curved piecing and the new checkerboard borders.

Should you prefer to purchase a kit, here are several places – recommended are Quiltster and Granny Sassy Designs. Quiltster has a marketplace that is open to everyone that sells kits from all of the certified stores. Granny Sassy Designs is in Duval, WA and is wonderful to work with, she is also a certified store. Either place will allow the students to buy the kit with or without the pattern. Patterns will be available at a discount through Cynthy.
