Beginning Quilting

Join us for a relaxed, inspiring quilting retreat designed especially for beginner quilters and those ready to strengthen their piecing skills and confidence. This retreat is about more than just sewing—it’s about building good habits, fixing the small behaviors that slow your progress, and learning techniques that help your quilts come together more smoothly and accurately.

During the retreat, you’ll work on two complete projects:

* a 6-yard twin-size quilt, perfect for learning efficient cutting and piecing
* a lap-size quilt made from fat quarters, ideal for practicing accuracy, layout, and color play

You’ll receive guided instruction, helpful demonstrations, and plenty of one-on-one support as you sew at your own pace. Whether you’re new to quilting or feel “stuck” at the beginner stage, you’ll leave with finished projects, improved skills, and the confidence to take your quilting to the next level.
